COMPETITION CRITERIA
Submissions will be evaluated based on the following key criteria:
IMPACT
The solution has great potential to create value and benefit for its intended target groups.
NEEDS
The solution addresses a relevant and neglected need.
HEIGHT OF INNOVATION
The solution is unique and shows a high level of innovation.
FEASIBILITY
The solution is presented credibly with a realistic implementation plan.
BUSINESS ACUMEN
The solution demonstrates a business model that is sustainable in the long term.
PRIZE CATEGORIES
The following categories will have one winner each
SUSTAINABLE HEALTH
In this category, we are looking for business ideas that address a health challenge and contribute to a healthier life. It can be anything from preventing and treating illness to maintaining and promoting good health, both physical and mental.
SUSTAINABLE ENVIRONMENT
Within this category, we are looking for business ideas with the potential to solve the environmental challenges of our time. For example, it can be about innovative solutions or new processes that contribute to smarter and more efficient resource utilization and thus contribute to sustainable development.
SUSTAINABLE SOCIETY
Within this category, we look for business ideas that contribute to or maintain a better society, through social development. It can be about solutions that promote knowledge, participation, diversity, equality, gender equality or improve the opportunities for vulnerable groups in society.
Who can participate in Impact Cup 2025?
Everyone can apply to compete as long as at least one persin in the team is a student from Stockholm University, Södertörn Högskola or Karolinska Institute.
What do I win?
A jury selects first prizes at the final event in all three categories (Sustainable Health, Sustainable Environment and Sustainable Society):
First prize: 50,000 SEK in development funds *
* This can be used to take your business idea to market by hiring external expertise.
In addition, Drivhuset and our partners offer a free advice and coaching to further develop your ideas.

A Screening jury will now select the top 9 finalists.
Sharpen your idea and pitch
2025-04-20
During April-May, you have the opportunity to meet one of our business coaches and sharpen your idea and pitch before the final event. You will also be able to meet the other teams and learn more about technical, legal and complience aspects when turning your idea into a startup.
The final pitch

The 9 finalists will now pitch their ideas to the Grand Jury.
